In the second week of July, we supplied 20 mattresses and 20 blankets to elderly widows in the community. Most of them did not have beddings. With director Rose and Amanda in the lead, we moved from one house to another delivering the mattresses and blankets and praying together with widows and the family members. This was a great experience; It was sad to enter into their rooms just to find rugs and sacks on their old beds but we saw the creation of smiles on the faces of the widows after replacing the rugs with a mattress. Homes were full of joy and happiness on receiving the items.

“…….to visit orphans and widows in their affliction………” James 1:27. According to this word, it is our job and responsibility to take care of the widows. We truly appreciate our wonderful donors and champions who have enabled us to provide mattresses and blankets to the widows in the community.
